Look after your results

A little care goes a long way — follow these tips to keep your lashes, brows and skin at their best between appointments.

Eyelash extensions

Do

  • Brush your lashes daily.
  • Clean lashes daily using a lash shampoo — ensuring lashes are kept clean, clean lashes last longer!
  • Lash shampoo can be purchased at your appointment.
  • To keep lashes looking full and fresh, book in for infills every 2–3 weeks.

Don't

  • Don't get lashes wet for 24 hours after your appointment.
  • Don't use saunas, steam rooms or sun-beds for 48 hours after your appointment.
  • Don't use oil-based products on lashes including creams, cleansers, make-up removers etc.
  • Don't apply mascara to your lashes.
  • Avoid pulling and picking at your lashes & rubbing your eyes.

LVL & lash lifts

Do

  • Use a gentle facial cleanser / wash on and around your lashes.
  • Keep lashes moisturised — do this with the conditioner provided by me.
  • Brush your lashes daily to retain shape.
  • You can use mascara after 24/48 hours.
  • You can return for another lash lift after 6–8 weeks.

Don't

What to avoid for the first 24–48 hours:

  • Touching and rubbing the area.
  • Make up.
  • Getting them wet — including sweat, steam and swimming.
  • Direct sunlight and use of sunbeds.
  • Sleeping on your front or side.

Brow lamination

Do

  • Gentle cleansing — after the initial 24 hours of keeping them dry, you can resume regular face cleansing, but use gentle products.
  • Keep them moisturised! Do this using the oil/conditioner provided by me — so important with brow lamination to avoid brow hairs drying out.
  • Brush brows daily.
  • Try to sleep on your back for the first 24/48 hours to avoid disrupting the brows shape.
  • Can return after 6–8 weeks for another brow lamination.

Don't

To avoid for the first 24–48 hours:

  • Using products like make up, skincare, Retin-A, AHA or self-tanning products for at least 24–72 hours.
  • Touching and rubbing them.
  • Getting them wet — including sweat, steam and swimming.
  • Avoid heat — direct sunlight and use of sunbeds.

Dermaplaning

Do

  • Keep skin hydrated with a gentle moisturiser.
  • Wear SPF daily — your skin is more sensitive to the sun.
  • Stick to soothing, non-active skin care for a few days.
  • Avoid make up for 24 hours to let the skin breathe.
  • Can return for another session after 6 weeks.

Don't

  • Do not use retinols, Vitamin C or strong skin care for 3–5 days.
  • No exfoliating for 7 days.
  • No workouts or sweating excessively for 24 hours.
  • Don't touch or pick at skin.
  • No sun exposure, sauna or steam rooms for 24 hours.

Chemical peels

Do

  • Wear SPF 50 every day for two weeks after your appointment.
  • Use gentle/hydrating products only for 7 days (or the skin care I've given you).
  • Can use any vitamin C products after 3 days.
  • Can return for another peel after 2–6 weeks depending on what peel you get.

Don't

  • No make up for 24 hours.
  • No exercise or heavy sweating for 24 hours.
  • No saunas/steam or extreme heat for 48 hours.
  • No swimming in chlorine for 7 days.
  • No sun exposure/sun beds for 2 weeks.
  • No acids or retinols for 7 days.
  • No dermal fillers/botox in the treatment area for 2 weeks.

Microneedling

Do

  • Wear SPF & moisturiser every day!
  • Use gentle/hydrating products only for 7 days (or the skin care I've given you).
  • Use clean pillowcases when going to sleep.
  • Can return for another session after 3–4 weeks.

Don't

  • No make up for 48 hours.
  • No exercise or heavy sweating for 48 hours.
  • No saunas or steam rooms for 5 days.
  • No swimming in chlorine for 7 days.
  • No acids or retinols for 7 days.
  • No facial waxing for 7 days.
  • No sun exposure/sun beds for 2 weeks.
  • No dermal fillers/botox in the treatment area for 2 weeks.
  • Avoid touching your face.
